Itinerary

Day 1. 6th September.

Start time: 9:00am

Pick-up location:
Outside the main entrance of Hotel Riu Plaza, formerly known as The Gresham Hotel.
Address: 23 O’Connell Street Upper, North Dublin.

You will be given a mini tour around Dublin before we drive south to Wicklow mountains stopping at various places like Lough Tay aka Guinness Lake, Glendalough for a tour of the 6th Century monastic site. Departing Glendalough we will then drive to Kilkenny where I will give you a mini tour around Kilkenny City.

Day 2.
7th September.

Kilkenny Castle Tour, Kilkenny Castle is a stunning 12th-century castle that has been at the heart of Kilkenny City for over 800 years. Once the powerful seat of the Butler family, this grand castle blends medieval architecture with Victorian elegance. Visitors can explore richly decorated rooms, including a magnificent Picture Gallery, and stroll through 50 acres of beautiful parklands featuring formal rose gardens and woodlands.

Blarney Castle and garden.
Blarney Castle, a magnificent 15th-century fortress located in County Cork, Ireland, is world-famous for the legendary Blarney Stone. Visitors come from all over to kiss the stone, believed to grant the “gift of the gab” or eloquence. Built on the ruins of earlier castles, it was the seat of the powerful MacCarthy family and features a castle that combines medieval architecture with romantic ruins.

Titanic experience Cobh, Step into the poignant history of the Titanic at the Titanic Experience in Cobh, Ireland’s final port of call for the ill-fated ship. This interactive visitor attraction, housed in the original White Star Line Ticket Office, brings to life the stories of the passengers who boarded here in 1912.

Day 3.
8th September.

This scenic day takes us travelling across the Cork and Kerry mountain's stopping at various places like Gougane barra 6th Century, we will continue our journey through towns and villages and the Cork and Kerry mountains. Driving through Kenmare and Caha mountain pass, reaching Molls gap before we decent to Killarney via Killarney National Park.

Day 4.
9th September.

Dingle Peninsula and Slea Head drive. stopping at various places like Dunquin Pier and Gallarus oratory.

Free Time in Dingle.

Day 5.
10th September.

This drive from takes us to various towns and villages, stopping at Adare village for a refreshment break..
Our next stop will be a tour of Bunratty 15th Century Castle and 19th century Folk.

Ennis, Co Clare Overnight.

Day 6.
11th September.

Depart Ennis, our first stop will be the majestic Cliffs of Moher where you will have free time to explore the rugged Cliff's!
From here we travel through the Burren National Park, following part of the Wild Atlantic Way coastal route to explore the fascinating limestone landscape that defines the Burren region.
 
Arrive in Galway, a lively city known for music, food, and colourful streets.
Enjoy the evening in Galway.

Day 7.
12th September.

This day takes us through Connemara, Cong village where the Quiet Man was filmed  in 1952, tour Kylemore Abbey and then continuing the Connemara loop stopping at sky road viewing point.

Day 8.
13th September.

Enjoy some free time to explore the vibrant streets and charming shops of Galway city at your own pace. Later, travel to Athlone to visit Seán’s Bar, acclaimed as Ireland's oldest pub, with a rich history dating back over 1,100 years and a claim to being one of the oldest pubs in the world. Experience its unique atmosphere steeped in centuries of Irish culture.

Afterwards, embark on a guided tour of Kilbeggan Distillery, where you can discover the art of whiskey-making and enjoy some tastings.

Finally, return to Dublin, where your unforgettable tour sadly comes to an end.
